Nokia has unleashed the new Nokia 8800 Gold Arte for Southeast Asia Pacific.

The latest addition in the Gold Arte line-up comes with a slide mechanism and ball bearings that have been crafted with stainless steals and high quality 18 carat gold plates.

Nokia 8800 Gold Arte phone is designed with fine quality of leather. The tap-for-time feature allows users to tap twice the leather below and a clock is displayed on the screen. Another interesting feature that the Nokia 8800 Gold Arte boasts off is its turn-to-mute feature. Owners of the 8800 phone can simply silence the incoming calls by turning the device over, with the screen side down.

It does not only look good but also comes in with some unusual features and functions that make the phone more interesting. Nokia 8800 phone sports an OLED display screen and anti-fingerprint coating for protection. The phone integrates a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus. The 3G capable phone also packs in 4GB of internal memory.

The Nokia 8800 Gold Arte phone will be available in Q2 2009 in Southeast Asia Pacific. Pricing details for the phone are not yet known.
